I learned about ResQthreads recently, and wanted to share it with you. I LOVE product/company give back stories, and this is a great one.
Inspired by their adopted dog Charlie and all the happiness he brings to their lives, Greg and Bailey founded ResQthreads to give people and their pets a stylish way to promote adoption and support the rescues and shelters they care about. The company’s goal is to put adoption in the spotlight and make it a cultural norm.
ResQthreads is based out of the North Eastern United States that makes apparel and other accessories, sells it online, and then donates a stated portion of proceeds to a number of animal rescues. You can even direct your funds to the rescue of your choice.
For example, a t-shirt ($28) or hoodie ($44) purchase nets a $10 donation to animal rescue. That’s a pretty significant chunk!
I bought a few things- a bumper sticker, a hooded sweatshirt that says “Adopt”, and an infinity scarf.
Shipping was free, even to Canada, and since it ships by USPS there were no nasty cost surprises when it arrived. The whole process was pretty seamless. When I had a question about my order I Facebook messaged them and they got back to me right away. How amazing is that?
If you’re in the market for some casual clothing, bumper stickers, or even coffee, I recommend checking out ResQthreads. You can feel good knowing that even as you shop, you’re supporting the animal rescues who need it!
