Having a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, and eight years of experience working for publications including the Ottawa Citizen (six years), has helped Pamela to develop news judgment that’s second to none. She has successfully pitched stories to publications, ranging from blogs, to local news (Ottawa Citizen, OBJ, CTV, Ottawa Magazine), to national news outlets including CBC, Canada AM, Canadian Living, Best Health, and Parents Canada.
The key to this success is shaping a relevant narrative that people will care about, and going to great lengths to meet the needs of reporters, producers and editors. Pamela is also an eloquent and authentic spokesperson, who is able to learn subject matter quickly and translate it into digestible information.
Prior to heading up media relations at terra20, Pamela obtained substantial media coverage in support of Ottawa Veg Fest for four years.
Pamela consistently has a Klout score of 60-67, demonstrating her ability to inspire concrete action (The average Klout Score is 40. Users with a score of 63 are in the top 5% of all users.)
